Do you require titles?

Every state has different requirements for the transferring the ownership of a vehicle. We will work with you to accomplish this, regardless on what paperwork you currently have.

Do you purchase boats, motorcycles, or vehicles other than cars?

Junk Your Clunkers only purchases and removes cars and trucks.

How fast can my vehicle be towed away?

Our network of towers can usually tow away your vehicle in less than two business days.

What do I do if there is a lien holder listed on the title?

We will need the Original Lein Release from the Lein holder, stating that the Lein has been satisfied.

What ensures me I will get payment for my vehicle?

We pay cash on the spot.

Who handles my vehicles final paperwork?

All paperwork will be handled at the holding facility that picks up your vehicle and will be processed at the local DMV.

What if my vehicle is not at home but at a repair shop?

We will pick up vehicles at repair shops that are clear to be released as a convenience to our customers at no charge.

How soon will my title be transferred after the sale?

Your title will be transferred out of your name usually between one and four weeks.

Do you purchase cars that run and drive?

Yes, we purchase all types of running and driving vehicles.

What if I am in a different state than my vehicle?

In most cases, we can purchase your vehicle regardless of where your location is.

Will you charge to have my vehicle towed away?

Not at all; Once you agree to our offer, we will have it towed away at no charge to you.

What options do you offer for payment of my vehicle?

Will someone need to come appraise my vehicle in person or do I need to bring my vehicle in for inspection?

What should I write in the description notes about my vehicle?

We pay cash on the spot.

How will I receive payment if I have a change of address?

If your payment is to be made by check, please be sure we have your current mailing address (with an apartment number if applicable), city, state, and zip code. This will be on your payment agreement sent to you.

Where do I sign my title?

Our customer care team will assist you on how to properly fill out and sign your title.
